Multiple DUIs: Rehab Diversion

Client was arrested and charged with a felony DUI (Vehicle Code §§ 23152 (a) and (b)) after injuring a passenger in a traffic collision. This client also was arrested for two more DUIs six months after this initial arrest, both within a one month period. Client was looking at extensive prison time for reoffending, but suffered from alcohol abuse and could benefit greatly from rehab instead of lengthy jail time. We were able to get this client into a rehab program for alcoholism where she thrived and turned her life around.
