Fraudulent Vehicle Registration Stickers charges may be filed against a person who, with intent to prejudice, damage, or defraud, alters, forges, counterfeits, or falsifies a certificate of ownership, registration card, license, license plate, or permit; or with fraudulent intent displays or causes or permits to be displayed a forged certificate of ownership or registration.
